IRCAM-Centre Pompidou is a non-profit research institution located in Paris, associated to Centre Pompidou under the aegis of the French Ministry of Culture and Communication. It was founded in 1977 as part of the Centre Pompidou project by Pierre Boulez as an institution dedicated to promoting collaborations between researchers, engineers and artists.

ARTSHARE is a company focused on innovation through research and development of new technologies, applications and services by methodological means of artistic practices and expressions. ARTSHARE, although being a Portuguese firm, shifted its centre of operations to Brussels which allows closer engagement with activities involving the Commission, the European Parliament and the Council of Europe.

R&D-Design and innovation, digital humanities

EPFL Research university active in ICT, design and digital humanities
EPFL has more than 2000 PhDs, with a key focus on engineering and computer sciences. In collaboration with ECAL, a leading art and design school, it has held the EPFL+ECAL Lab since 2007, a center for design research. This center has developed a new approach to bring art and engineering together for disruptive innovation. EPFL further impacts society and arts through ICT thanks to the new Digital Humanities Institute.

LIB is an SME that is closely located and related to the University of Zaragoza. Since its origin in 2006 as a Spin Off company from this University, LIB has been recognized as an innovator company by all institutions within the Spanish Government.
LIB designs and manufactures hardware technology and a complete software development kit for the implementation of wireless sensor networks so that system integrators, engineering and consultancy companies can implement reliable Internet of Things, M2M, and Smart Cities solutions with minimum time to market.
